It was built with Responsive Design in mind to ensure the site looks great on any device! This brand was looking for a companion site to assist with sales. Thus, the website needs to be simple to maintain and changed according to the content they are currently handling.
Since most customers visiting this page will be coming from Instagram, that is why I adopted the single scroll style experience. Considering that the store owner will be re-using assets and content from instagram, I made sure to make all the photos squared so that it's easy to plug and play without the need to crop or edit the pictures. I also added an Instagram gallery on the website since integrating Instagram feeds would instantly boost website dwell time and provide social proof to website visitors, which will ultimately drive sales.
They now have a store that is easily maintainable and updated according to their existing Instagram content without putting in too much effort into creating a new pictures and content with different dimension and aspect ratio just to accommodate the images and content on the website. Having a website not only helps improve branding, but assists with back-end work like handling invoices, sales, and being able to capture analytics that can be used to implement conversion strategies like AB Testing. All from the comfort of the Spotify platform.
